WHO WANTS TO BE A
LAUREL & HARDY
MILLIONAIRE?
Compiled by Howard Parker
For £125000, which comedy team starred in the film Way Out West?
A Abbott & Costello B The Three Stooges
C Laurel & Hardy D The Marx Brothers
This was a question on one of the couples editions of the hit TV quiz show, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, shown at the beginning of this year. Of course, to you and I, this is a very easy question. However, it was not so easy for the contestants and they had to phone a friend for help, who gave them the correct answer.
While down in London for the Westminster Film Fair in March, Ian Kerman, Mike Beadle and myself went to Elstree Film Studios for a recording of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Yes, we were in the audience when a couple went away with the grand total of nothing! We all sit at home shouting the correct answers out, don't we? But, how would you cope if you were in the chair? If all the questions were on Laurel and Hardy, perhaps we would all win a million pounds! Well, here's your chance to find out, as you get ready to play just for fun and imaginary money!
WHO WANTS TO BE A LAUREL AND HARDY MILLIONAIRE?
The first few questions are, of course, easy and straightforward - hopefully!
